Libya: 63 MPs boycott Monday session and call for amendment of the bylaws and a vote on the outcomes of the “4+4” committee

Benghazi – Sixty-three members of the Libyan House of Representatives announced they would boycott the session called by parliamentary leadership for Monday, September 14, 2026. They cited the lack of a clear agenda and the failure to honor a previous decision to prioritize amending the House’s internal rules.

In a statement issued Sunday in Benghazi, the members said the call for the session also ignored demands raised during recent consultative meetings.
