Monrovia, Liberia, January 30, 2025 – President Joseph N. Boakai says he will institute plans to have a proper burial for two former Liberian Presidents, Williams Richard Tolbert and Samuel Kanyon Doe. The former died in a military coup in 1980, while the latter died at the barrel of a gun ten years later in a bloody civil war.
