Monrovia-March-4-TNR:

Montserrado County district Eight Representative, Prince Toles, has responded to recent allegations linking him to the downsizing of workers at Unification Park (PHP Park). It was claimed that the lawmaker was using his influence and power to pressure the management at PHP to lay off workers in order to hire those who supported him.

In his defense, Representative Toles vehemently denied these accusations, calling them false and misleading. He clarified that he had no knowledge of the current management at the park and had not even visited their office, despite living nearby. He stated that once his office setup was complete, he would engage with the management.

When questioned about strained relationships with individuals spreading such information, Toles pointed fingers at Mr. Moses Acarous Gray, a former lawmaker of the district. He dismissed the allegations as propaganda from the old regime of the district still clinging to political motives.

Toles emphasized his commitment to creating job opportunities for more district residents and asserted that he did not support the downsizing of citizens. As a representative, he vowed to work for the benefit of all constituents regardless of their political affiliations.

Addressing criticisms about his lack of communication and participation in deliberations, Toles explained that he preferred to speak after careful planning and research. He emphasized the importance of thoughtful leadership and indicated that he would make his presence felt in the legislative process once his office renovation was completed.

In conclusion, Representative Toles refuted claims of involvement in worker layoffs at Unification Park and highlighted his dedication to serving the diverse needs of his constituents. He expressed a desire to promote unity and progress in the district, dismissing political agendas of the past. As he prepares to engage more actively in legislative activities, Toles is focused on representing all district residents and advocating for their best interests.
