Monrovia, February 20, 2026 – Following a recent protest in Nimba County, the Government, through the Ministry of Information, is reporting that eight police officers sustained severe injuries, while 37 protesters were arrested.
The injured officers, as outlined by the Ministry, include Sergeant Bengemon Yealeh, Sergeant Carranton Wol, Patrolman Ambera Toahlm, Patrolman Sam Cassel, Patrolman Emanuel Gono, Patrolman Addulah Kehmoka, Peter Flomo, and James Gaye.
