The Government of Liberia is optimistic that rice importation here will reduce by 45 percent by 2025 as local production increases.

Monrovia, Liberia, November 5, 2024Agriculture Minister Dr. J. Alexander Nuetah says that, with the target the Government of Liberia has put in place through the Ministry of Agriculture, Liberia will grow about 45% of the rice it consumes by 2025.
