The Liberian Government reports that it raised $1.8 million in 2024 from issuance of work permits to aliens.

Monrovia, Liberia, January 10, 2025 – Labour Minister Cllr. Cooper Kruah announces that the ministry’s Alien Registration Department processed and issued 10,974 work permits to foreign nationals in 2024, reflecting a significant contribution to the country’s workforce and the economy.
