A political ally of the national leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and the member representing Kano Municipal Federal Constituency, Engr. Sagir Koki, has resigned his membership from the NNPP.

This was coming barely days after another member representing the Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency at the green chamber, Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, also dumped the party and returned to the All Progressive Congress, APC.

Koki cited the issue of the internal crisis rocking the NNPP party leadership at the centre as the reason for his resignation from the party.
