Kwankwaso still not our leader in Kano, national – NNPP chieftain

Alhaji Sani Danmasani, National Vice Chairman, Northwest, New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), says the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso, is not its leader in Kano State or nationwide.

Danmasani gave the clarification in a statement on Monday.

He explained that Gov. Ahmed Yusuf’s exit from the party did not mean that Kwankwaso, who had long been expelled from the NNPP, and members of his Kwankwasiya Movement were back.

“Yusuf was one of our national leaders. Our Founder and Chairman, Board of Trustees, Dr Boniface Aniebonam, is our leader, alongside the Dr Agbo Major led National Working Committee (NWC).
