For nearly 31 years, King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV held the reins of power, carrying the destiny, hopes and identity of Tooro Kingdom.

For 15 years, nearly half of his reign, he ruled under a council of regents who managed the kingdom’s affairs. He came of age in 2010 and took over.
