Kenya: US Warns Its Citizens Demos in Kenya Could Turn Violent

The United Embassy in Kenya issued a demonstration alert to its citizens that there were planned protests on Thursday, July 11. 

According to the Embassy, the demonstrations are expected to happen in multiple cities across Kenya. 

Despite President William Ruto calling for dialogue with aggrieved Kenyans, the Embassy noted that calls for anti-government protests still continued.
