Kenya: Uhuru’s Jubilee Party Endorses Matiang’i to Unseat Ruto

President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party has finally announced their preferred presidential candidate for the 2027 General Election.

The party’s Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni announced that Jubilee’s flagbearer is former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i. 

Speaking at a leadership meeting in Narok on Saturday, he also expressed optimism that Matiang’i would easily beat President William Ruto in the elections.
