U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau is set to visit Kenya, nearly three months after the planned visit of Vice President JD Vance to the country was cancelled due to a U.S. government shutdown.

Landau’s visit is scheduled between Saturday, January 24, and February 1, as part of a larger trip across Africa alongside Commander of U.S. Africa Command General Dagvin Anderson.
