A transformer exploded in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) along Ronald Ngala Street opposite Posta causing an inferno. The incident happened on Sunday around 6:00 pm.Â
Video clips seen by Kenyans.co.ke showed a huge fire engulfing the ground floor of a three-storey commercial building adjacent to the transformer.
Traders were forced to flee for their lives as the transformer burst into flames. The commotion caused a traffic snarl-up.
