Kenya: Traders Count Losses as Fire Destroys Stalls in Ruiru

Traders at the Ruiru Bypass stage are counting losses after a massive fire destroyed several stalls and businesses in the area in the early hours of Wednesday, September 2.

According to reports, the fire broke out around 3 a.m. on Wednesday; officials have not yet released an official time of the incident. 

By the time the fire was contained, several traders had reportedly lost their stalls, merchandise and other property in the blaze, leaving them to assess the extent of the damage.
