Former Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa on Friday night questioned the hurried process to nominate Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure as the country’s next Deputy President following the ouster of Rigathi Gachagua.

Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV, Wamalwa questioned the rush, yet the constitution allows a period of 14 days to install another second in command in case a vacancy occurs in the second highest office in the land.
