Two men suspected of shooting and robbing Ksh3.9 million from a Kenyan businessman in the Eastleigh area of Nairobi have been found dead, along with a woman believed to be their accomplice. The bodies of the suspects and the woman were discovered in various locations in Nairobi and Kiambu Counties, raising suspicions of foul play.

The first suspect and his girlfriend were found deceased in the Juja and Lari areas of Kiambu County, while the second suspect’s body was recovered from an undisclosed location. The bodies were transported to Nairobi’s City Mortuary for further investigation.

Autopsy reports conducted at the facility revealed that all three individuals had died from drowning, as significant amounts of water were found in their lungs. This discovery added to the mystery surrounding their deaths, fueling speculation of a possible cover-up or foul play.

In a tragic turn of events, the main suspect was laid to rest at the Kariokor cemetery in accordance with Islamic customs, which dictate that the deceased should be buried within 24 hours of their passing. This solemn occasion brought closure to the families of the deceased, but questions still lingered about the circumstances leading to their deaths.

The incident that led to the suspects’ demise was captured on CCTV footage from a nearby shop in the bustling Eastleigh shopping center. The footage showed two men on a motorcycle approaching the victim, Adan Ali Mohamed, shooting him, and fleeing with a bag containing the stolen money. Adan sustained a severe spinal cord injury from the bullet, leaving him paralyzed and in need of urgent medical attention.

The victim’s relatives recounted the harrowing ordeal, detailing how Adan was ambushed by the thieves while on his way to the bank to deposit the sales proceeds of cooking oil. The abrupt attack left him grievously wounded and robbed of his hard-earned money, plunging his family into despair and uncertainty.

Despite undergoing medical procedures to restore function to his paralyzed legs, Adan’s condition remained critical, highlighting the devastating impact of the senseless act of violence perpetrated against him. The community rallied behind the victim’s family, offering support and solidarity in their time of need.

The authorities swiftly acted on the case, apprehending one of the suspects in Mombasa as he attempted to purchase a vehicle with the stolen money. This arrest offered a glimpse of hope for justice to be served and closure to be attained for the victims and their loved ones.

As the investigation into the tragic incident continues, the lingering questions surrounding the deaths of the suspects and the woman deepen the sense of unease in the community. The search for answers and accountability remains ongoing, as the scars of this heinous act take time to heal and justice to be served.
