The government has announced the deployment of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) to tackle rising banditry in Mukogodo Forest, Laikipia County.

Speaking on Friday during the Laikipia North Women Empowerment Forum in Il Polei, Laikipia North, Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya assured residents in insecurity-prone areas that the military is fully prepared to support operations against bandits.
