Kenya: Slain Kasipul MP Charles Were Claimed Some People Wanted to Kill Him

Hours after he was shot dead, videos of Kasipul Member of Parliament Charles Ong’ondo Were decrying that his life was in danger, have resurfaced.

MP Were met his death on Wednesday, April 30, after he was shot near the City Mortuary roundabout by suspected goons who were trailing him.

According to witnesses, the assailants—two in number—were on a motorbike when one of them alighted and shot the legislator at close range before fleeing the scene.
