New details have emerged surrounding the tragic death of NTV journalist, Rita Tinina. It was reported at Kileleshwa Police Station that she suffered from epilepsy and had experienced a severe five-day-old fever leading up to her passing. The initial report was made by her sister, Helen Silau Njaga, after finding Tinina unconscious in her Kileleshwa home.
Tinina, aged 46, was discovered unresponsive on her bed by her sister, who immediately called for medical assistance. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Tinina was declared lifeless upon their arrival. She was living with her eight-year-old daughter at the time of her death.
Following the incident, police transferred her body to Umash Funeral Home as investigations began. Speaking to the press, Silau, on behalf of the family, expressed shock and requested privacy during this difficult time for the family.
