Kenya: SHA Extends Deadline for Healthcare Providers to Comply With HMIS

Healthcare providers across the country have been given an additional month to comply with mandatory Health Management Information System (HMIS) requirements after the Social Health Authority (SHA) extended the deadline to September 30, 2026.

In a notice issued on Tuesday, September 1, SHA said the extension would allow healthcare providers additional time to complete the necessary system configuration and compliance processes.
