At least 10 people were rushed to the Coast General Hospital after a 52-seater Tahmeed bus crashed into a PSV matatu on Friday, April 4, at night.
According to witness accounts, the accident occurred around 1 a.m. when the bus, traveling from Mwembe Tayari, encountered mechanical issues while going uphill and rammed into a Mikindani matatu at the Kibarani Flyover.
The bus’s brakes are said to have failed, causing it to reverse and hit the matatu, which belonged to the Miritini Sacco.
