Kenya: Ruto Reveals Negotiations With Online Work Platform Remotasks to Restore Services in Kenya

President William Ruto on Monday announced that Kenya was already in negotiations with the online working platform Remotasks to resume operations in the country.

Remotasks suddenly shut down its operations in Kenya on March 2024 affecting thousands of young Kenyans who depended on the platform to earn a living. 

During the Official opening of Njoro Technical Training Institute in Nakuru County, young Kenyans begged President Ruto to negotiate on their behalf with the company.
