Kenya: Residents Decide to Build Road in MP Kuria Kimani’s Backyard

Residents of Mutirithia Village in Molo took the initiative to repair their road after efforts to reach their member of Parliament or member of the County Assembly bore no fruits.

The residents had earlier lamented that the road was left unrepaired for a long time. They blamed their member of county assembly as well as member of Parliament, Kimani Kuria, for failing to help them in their plight.

To address the issue, the residents crowdsourced funds and bought stones to repair the road.
