The Private Security Regulatory Authority (PSRA) on Tuesday intervened in the case of a security guard, Vincent Chepkwony, who gained overnight popularity after being recorded on camera opening the doors of a popular restaurant to protestors at the height of the Anti-Finance Bill protests.
On Monday, media reports indicated that the security guard in question had been dismissed from his position at the company providing security services to the establishment.
