Kenya: Property Worth Millions Destroyed After Fire Burns Dormitory at Nandi Primary School

Property of unknown value went up in smoke at Nandi Primary School in Kapsabet after a fire erupted and razed down a dormitory. The fire also destroyed six teachers’ quarters.

It is believed that the fire was caused by an explosion of a gas cylinder in one of the rooms in the building. It is suspected the gas leak was caused by the student and the fire broke out in the evening of Wednesday at a small section before spreading to the rest of the building.
