Kenya: President William Ruto Announces Listing of First Islamic Bond at Nairobi Securities Exchange

President William Ruto has announced the listing of the country’s first Islamic bond, the Linzi Sukuk, on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE). 

This landmark event took place at the Linzi Sukuk Bell-Ringing Ceremony held at the NSE in Westlands, Nairobi, Ruto stated that the company was joining a portfolio of innovative financial instruments.
