Kenya: Political Parties Given October Deadline to Submit Nomination Rules

The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) has issued a timeline of key processes that political parties must meet ahead of the 2027 General Elections.

In a communique to political parties obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, Registrar of Political Parties, John Lorionokou, said Political parties have until October 16, 2026, to submit their election and nomination rules to the ORPP, with the submission window running from September 28.
