A senior police officer in Nyamira has launched a 250-kilometre peace walk aimed at bridging the gap between the public and law enforcement while pushing for greater accountability within the National Police Service (NPS).
Chief Inspector of Police Ignatius Wendo, currently serving as Officer Commanding Station (OCS) at Abombo Police Station in Nyamira, is the brain behind the initiative, dubbed ‘Steps of Hope Beyond the Badge’.
