The Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) on Tuesday recalled S-Prazo (Esomeparazoole Magnesium Delayed-Release Capsules 40mg) Batch No SPZ-302 used to treat ulcers following complaints of a mix-up.
Esomeprazole is used to treat heartburn and certain other conditions caused by too much acid in the stomach.
It helps to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), where stomach acid backs up into your oesophagus. It also helps in the treatment of stomach ulcers.
