The Pharmacy and Poisons Board on Friday announced the immediate recall of Flamodid (Amlodipine) 5 Mg Tablets batch no. FLD303 manufactured by Medico Remedies PVT Limited.

According to a statement issued by the board, this action is a result of a labelling error that failed to accurately reflect the drug’s content.

“The secondary packaging is labelled as Flamodip-5 (Amlodipine), while the primary packaging is labelled as  Flamidopril-5 (Enalapril),” part of the alert reads.
