Kenya: Passengers Escape Unhurt After 60-Seater Bus Bursts Into Flames Along Nairobi-Mombasa Highway

Traffic disruption was witnessed on Thursday at the Mtito Andi area, located along the Mombasa -Nairobi highway after a 60-seater passenger bus burst into flames.

The early morning incident saw passengers scamper for safety as the fire began spreading to other parts of the bus.

Preliminary reports suggest the fire might have been caused by a technical failure.

Following the incident, firefighters were quickly dispatched to the scene to help put out the fire which had engulfed the bus.
