A tragedy struck the parking lot of a bar in Embakasi, Nairobi, on Saturday morning when a police officer was brutally stabbed to death after an altercation during a Kalenjin Night event.

The incident, which occurred at approximately 4:50am, has sent shockwaves through the community and prompted a police investigation. The victim, identified as Constable Nicholas Koech, 30, was attached to Jogoo House, the police headquarters in Nairobi.
