Kenya: Nearly Half of Kenyans Express Concerns Over New CBE Grading System – Infotrack

Nearly half of all Kenyans are unhappy with the way the government grades students under the contentious Competency-Based Curriculum system.

This is according to a new Infotrak national opinion poll conducted between December 2025 and January 2026 across all 47 counties.

The survey interviewed 1,000 adult Kenyans and found that 45 per cent are dissatisfied with the CBC grading framework, with only 38 per cent expressing satisfaction with the grading system
