Kenya: Ndindi Nyoro Urges Education Ministry to Review School Calendar Amid Rising School Unrest

Pressure is mounting on the Ministry of Education to review the school calendar in efforts to minimise unrest in secondary schools that have been on the rise in recent weeks.

Speaking during a public gathering on Friday, June 5, Kiharu Member of Parliament, Ndindi Nyoro, called on the ministry to particularly restructure the second term, which is overly long and academically demanding for learners, hence the unrest.
