The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) has summoned Kajiado Governor and Nominated MP Joseph Wainaina Iraya to appear before it and respond to remarks the commission is investigating for possible ethnic incitement and hate speech.
In a statement on Tuesday, September 1, NCIC asked the two leaders to appear before the commission on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at its offices.
