The government has approved a series of international agreements that will see major global organisations, including the Ford Foundation and the International Vaccine Institute (IVI), establish offices in Nairobi, positioning Kenya as a regional hub for diplomacy, health, and science.

The approvals were made by the Cabinet on Tuesday, February 10, also covering the Novo Nordisk Foundation Kenya A/S.
