Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja was on Saturday forced to seek refuge after a section of angry Kibera residents resorted to pelting him with stones.

The vocal governor had paid a visit to the Toi market where four people reportedly died after a mysterious fire razed down several stalls and houses within the market.

In the videos obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, a group of angry residents were depicted pelting stones at the governor as they chanted his name.
