The Nairobi County Government has announced a crackdown targeting customers with outstanding water arrears and unlawful water connections across the country.
In a notice on  Thursday, the Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company said that it has already begun the disconnection exercise for these customers.
The company has urged all customers to ensure that they dial *260# to check their water bills to avoid disconnections.
