Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on Thursday accused foreign entities of funding the anti-government demonstrations witnessed in Uganda on Tuesday.

In a statement, Museveni faulted the foreigners for continually meddling in the internal affairs of African countries through neo-colonialism and economic exploitation.

While making the allegations, Museveni issued a stern warning to the sponsors of the recent protests and vowed to deal with them.
