Meru County has promoted 512 healthcare workers in a move aimed at boosting service delivery and averting further industrial action by medics.
The promotion exercise was announced by Governor Isaac Mutuma on Wednesday, June 3, a day after members of the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) in the county embarked an industrial action.
