A village in Embu County has been thrown into shock after a 26-year-old man killed his 24-year-old wife in front of his two children aged 9 years and 5 years.
The man is said to have committed the heinous act in Iravari village, Embu county, in the presence of the children.
An elder brother of the suspect told the press on Tuesday that after committing the act, the suspect went to see him while carrying a panga which is believed to be the tool used in the crime.Â
