The Kenya Transporters Association (KTA) has directed transport operators to review the salaries of heavy vehicle drivers to reflect the new revised minimum wages.
In an advisory on Thursday, September 10, KTA said the new minimum wage rates took effect on May 1, 2026.
According to the association, Transport operators should review their payrolls and employment arrangements to ensure they comply with the new rates.
