The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced a temporary downtime of its iTax system ahead of the busy June 30 income tax filing timeline, a period when many taxpayers are expected to be submitting returns.
In a notice issued on Friday, May 8, KRA said the system will undergo scheduled maintenance to improve service delivery and ensure smoother operations during peak usage.
The maintenance is set to take place on Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 6am to 10am.
