Kenya: Kieni MP Wants Uhuru Kenyatta to Hand Over Mt Kenya Kingpin Baton to Gachagua

Kieni Member of Parliament, Anthony Wainaina, has called upon former President Uhuru Kenyatta to formally pass the mantle of Mt Kenya region’s kingpin to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. 

Speaking at a burial ceremony in Nyeri, Wainaina emphasized the need for a smooth transition of leadership within the region to maintain unity and strength.

“We would like for Uhuru Kenyatta to bless Rigathi Gachagua as the Mt Kenya Region kingpin,” stated Wainaina.
