Kenya: Kiambu Senator Accuses Mt Kenya Politicians of Being Behind Gachagua’s Ouster Plot

Kiambu Senator Karungo Thang’wa on Tuesday, July 30 accused Mt Kenya politicians of dividing the populous voting bloc and plotting Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s impeachment.

Speaking during a media interview, Thang’wa pointed fingers at Laikipia East MP Mwangi Kiunjuri as one of the leaders behind this plot.

The Senator critiqued the MP for his earlier remarks which he argued were preparing the grounds for ousting Gachagua.

“What Kiunjuri was doing was preparing the ground to impeach…
