Kenya: Kenyans Mount Crosses at Uhuru Park as Thousands Turn Up for Memorial Concert

Kenyans on Sunday afternoon mounted crosses at Uhuru Park to commemorate the loss of lives witnessed during the Anti-Finance Bill protests.

In the sombre event, Kenyans mounted more than 30 crosses with the names and the ages of protestors who died jotted down.

Youths mounted the crosses at a strategic distance away from the memorial concert while mourning the fallen colleagues.

They further laid the Kenyan flag on the crosses as a show of patriotism.
