Kenya: Kenyans Face Deportation as Three Gulf Nations Intensify Crackdown

Several Kenyans living in Gulf countries face deportation as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other nations intensify crackdowns on foreigners found to have violated immigration and labour laws.

According to Business Insider Africa, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain and Jordan have deported or ordered the deportation of thousands of foreign nationals in 2026, while the UAE has also stepped up the removal of residency violators.
