Kenya: Kenyan Police Officer Awarded Highest Award by Central University of Punjab

Chief Inspector Isaac Njiriani, a Kenyan police officer, was recently awarded a Gold Medal for attaining a first position in order of merit in his Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication programme at the Central University of Punjab’s School of Information and Communication Studies.

The officer made history by being the first international student of African descent to receive the medal, which is the university’s highest honour after his remarkable achievement.
