Kenya: Kenya Signs Agreement with Canadian Firm to Send Healthcare Workers Abroad

Kenyan nurses will have more opportunities to work abroad after the government signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with a diaspora-owned Canadian firm, to expand structured pathways for employment in Canada’s healthcare sector.

The agreement was signed through the State Department of Diaspora Affairs and is aimed at training Kenyans in disability support work and linking them with employers in Canada under the Muuguzi Majuu program.
