Kenya: Kenya Railways Steps Up Anti-Vandalism Efforts After SGR Arrest

Kenya Railways has warned the public against vandalising railway infrastructure after security teams arrested a suspected offender along the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR).

The corporation reminded the public that vandalising railway property is a criminal offence under the Penal Code, which provides for severe penalties where conduct involving railway infrastructure endangers the safety of passengers and other railway users.
